Located within the Resort Core of Qiddiya City, approximately 45 km southwest of Riyadh, the Qiddiya Water Theme Park is a flagship destination within Saudi Arabia’s vision to establish Qiddiya as the Capital of Entertainment, Sports, and the Arts. The development forms part of one of the Kingdom’s most ambitious giga-projects, designed to deliver world-class leisure and entertainment experiences while supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. SETS is providing multidisciplinary infrastructure design services for the Water Theme Park development, encompassing transportation, roads and parking, wet utilities, and dry utilities. Working as part of a large international multidisciplinary consortium, SETS is coordinating with numerous specialist consultants to ensure the seamless integration of infrastructure systems across the development. The scope includes the detailed design of roadway and parking networks, traffic circulation and access strategies, utility infrastructure, drainage systems, power and telecommunications networks, and public realm infrastructure. Through an integrated design approach, the project supports the delivery of a resilient, efficient, and future-ready infrastructure framework capable of serving one of the region’s premier entertainment destinations.
