Services: Hydrology Studies, Wet Utilities Design (Stormwater Drainage, Potable Water, Firefighting, Sewage, and Irrigation Systems), and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
Status: Completed 2024
The Project consists of the design and development of King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) Special Integrated Logistics Zone (SILZ) Concept Masterplan and Infrastructure Design.
The site is in the vicinity of KKIA, North-East of Riyadh City, with a built-up area of 2,200,000 sqm. The Masterplan includes multi-sectional facilities, including product inventory, maintenance, development, light assembly, and re-packaging of consumer products. The Zone should cover trade and commerce, import and export of these products.
SETS is commissioned by Systematica to provide a complete concept design of wet utilities for the whole master plan and a detailed design for Phase 1.
In addition, SETS will conduct a complete hydrologic study and environmental impact assessment for the master plan.
SETS scope of work for this project consists of the following:
- Hydrology Study
- Wet Utility Systems including stormwater drainage, potable water and firefighting, sewage, and irrigation
- Environmental Impact Assessment

- All engineering studies (Traffic, Hydrological, Geotechnical, etc.)
- Site Surveys (topographic, geotechnical, traffic, utilities)
- Highway and Interchange Design
- Bridge and Structural Design
- Road Lighting
- Stormwater Drainage
- Road safety Audit
- ITS and Traffic Management
- Landscape & Irrigation
- Utilities diversion in coordination with concerned authorities
