As part of Qiddiya’s vision to become Saudi Arabia’s capital of entertainment, sports, and the arts, SETS was commissioned to deliver the full design services for Highway Package 1 – Upper Plateau Boulevard, a key transportation corridor supporting connectivity within the Qiddiya development. The project includes the design of a 5.5 km, 4x4-lane highway connecting the Qiddiya boundary with the future Taif Road extension, the integration of a dedicated High-Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane along a 4.1 km section, and the design of street lighting for the Wadi Bridge and adjacent road segments. The project supports sustainable mobility, improved accessibility, and the long-term transportation vision of Qiddiya. The SETS WES team is responsible for preparing a detailed Environmental Impact Assessment and ensuring NCEC approval.
