Phase 1 of Qiddiya’s Park & Ride Facilities is designed to provide efficient, safe, and convenient parking and transportation solutions for visitors. The facilities support seamless mobility across the destination, helping to enhance the overall visitor experience from arrival to departure. Designed to accommodate both event-driven demand and everyday overflow parking requirements, the Park & Ride sites integrate a range of transport services, including shuttle buses, taxis, car-sharing, and micro-mobility options. Supporting infrastructure includes passenger waiting areas, ticketing facilities, retail and food outlets, security rooms, and public amenities, creating a comfortable and accessible transit environment while supporting Qiddiya’s vision for connected and sustainable mobility. SETS provided electromechanical and energy engineering services for the project, including the design of infrastructure utility systems, power supply networks, street lighting, and electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities.
